At Utell by Pegasus, we know that making hotel reservations can be very profitable, but only if you can guarantee that you will be paid your commission.

When you pay with Paytell, you can take your commission in full for pre-paid bookings and bank it straight away. No more chasing payments.

How does it work?

Your client pays in advance for their booking, in their own currency, so that you can take your commission instantly. *Simply deduct your instant commission from your client’s payment and forward the balance to Utell. We then pay the hotel, in their own currency, in your client's name. It's that easy.

Your client will enjoy the benefits of Paytell too. Because the hotel receives payment in advance, your client gains peace of mind knowing that their booking is guaranteed and held for late arrival. And, by paying in advance in their own currency, they know exactly what their accommodation will cost and will not be affected by any possible fluctuations in the rate of exchange.

Booking by telephone

When you call Utell to make a booking, our trained reservations staff will advise you how much to collect from the client, how much instant commission you can keep and how much you should forward to us.

Booking by GDS

Add the relevant guarantee format at the end of your booking entry:

  • Amadeus: /DP-ADVDEP
  • Galileo: /G-DPST
  • SABRE: /GDPST
  • Worldspan: /G-DEP

and full payment details will be returned, along with the booking confirmation number.

Once you have made your booking, whether by telephone or by GDS, all you need to do is keep your commission and pay the difference to Utell.

Your booking confirmation

You will receive a Paytell receipt from Utell confirming the booking details and the amount pre-paid. Your client can produce this upon check-in to prove their entitlement to credit at the hotel and the amount they have paid.

Refunds

Paytell also offers a swift refund service should your client wish to cancel their pre-paid booking in accordance with the hotels cancellation policy
